The top photo shows Mark performing marionette manipulation of the wings in the film Date With An Angel. The lovely angel in the bottom photo is actress Emmanuelle Beart, who wore a harness suspended from the same "flight cage" as Mark. The "flight cage" was rigged on cables and pulleys that moved forward and back as well as up and down, this allowed the angel to have a running ascent into the air.
